Covehithe beach is in East Suffolk and I visited it on a glorious sunny day, the sky was deep blue and the sand golden. However, this painting is moment in time because this area suffers from the highest rate of erosion in the UK and next year the outline of the small sand cliffs it will be changed.
On a positive note I was very happy to spot two avocets that were once extremely rare.
