Lamorna Cove, plein air study

Back in the studio, after enjoying camping trips to Yorkshire, Norfolk, Devon and Cornwall, in our Eriba Caravan. Working on a number of new paintings based on plein air studies and sketches during my travels.

Over the summer fellow artist Kevin Moore and I stopped to paint Lamorna Cove, Cornwall. I found an old chair left by the rocks that doubled as an easel. After being held in traffic for hours, which have been a simple drive from the campsite, I spent about half an hour on the study but I am now working on a much larger studio based painting.
